Dinosaur Discovery Gallery - Discover the prehistoric wonders of Tumbler Ridge at the Tumbler Ridge Museum, a must-visit destination for any fossil enthusiast. Immerse yourself in over 300 million years of history as you explore the only facility of its kind in British Columbia. The wheelchair-accessible gallery showcases unique fossil specimens, including Tumbler Ridge's very own, that cannot be found anywhere else.

Cabin Pool, Flatbed Creek -  Most famously it is the site of our initial Ankylosaur trackway discovery by a pair of local boys in the year 2000.


Dinosaur Discovery Gallery

Since 2003, paleontologists have guided the Museum on its journey to become the globally acclaimed center for paleontology that it stands as today. The Dinosaur Discovery Gallery and our collections, housing an extensive research archive featuring British Columbia's dinosaur footprints, bones, Triassic marine fish, and swimming reptiles, are integral parts of the esteemed Tumbler Ridge Museum.

Cabin Pools - Flatbed Creek

Visit the site where Tumbler Ridge’s dinosaur story began. The Flatbed Creek Cabin Pool field site is a 3km return hike that takes approximately 1-2 hours. Tours run from June through August. For details and booking, call the museum at 250-242-3466.
