Discover Disc Golf in Tumbler Ridge
Tumbler Ridge continues to expand its outdoor recreation offerings with the addition of a permanent disc golf course, established by the Wolverine Nordic and Mountain Society in partnership with the District of Tumbler Ridge and with support from the Northern Development Initiative Trust. Integrated into Tumbler Ridge’s expanding outdoor recreation network, the Wolverine Disc Golf Course offers a welcoming, accessible experience for visitors and residents alike.
Disc golf, one of the fastest-growing outdoor sports in the world, combines light physical activity, strategy, and time spent in nature. Often described as “a walk through the park with a purpose”, it’s a relaxed yet rewarding way to explore the outdoors. The nine-target course is free to play and designed for all ages and abilities. Two sets of tee pads at each basket allow to choose between a casual round or a more challenging layout, and a full game can be completed in under an hour. Perfect to pair with a day of hiking, wildlife viewing, or mountain biking. Visitors without equipment can borrow disc sets at no cost from the Community Centre or Visitor Centre.
