Ancestor’s Path: The Ancient Route of the Monkman Pass is a Ancestor's Path is a 2025/2026 documentary project by Monkman Pass Productions and Telus Storyhive, following 8 friends over 9 days as they retrace the historic 1930s pioneering route. The film documents their challenging journey—retracing steps of Alex Monkman—while exploring the area's rich history, from ancient indigenous trade routes to early 20th-century pioneers.

The project serves as both a historical preservation effort and an adventure documentary, linking the present-day trail users with the rich pioneer heritage of the Monkman Pass area.
