Grand Re-Opening of the Redrum Hotel: Halloween Haunt & Trunk or Treat

“We’ve been DYING to stay here…” — Guest, identity unknown

The Redrum Hotel officially reopened its creaky doors on October 25, welcoming brave guests back for a night of laughs, screams, and delightfully spooky fun. Thanks to the spooktacular collaboration between Blunden’s Yard Haunt and the Tumbler Ridge Days Society, the hotel was once again fully operational, offering killer rates for one night only and an experience guests won’t soon forget.

From start to finish, the Halloween Haunt delivered chills and chuckles in equal measure. Ghoulish scenes, jump scares, and a whole lot of community spirit helped raise $2,894.90 for the local food bank as part of the Scare the Hunger Away campaign. Proof that even the creepiest night of the year can have a big heart.

New this year, the “boo crew” expanded the event with a Trunk or Treat, inviting local businesses and non-profits to join in the fun. Hosted on the grounds and open to all ages, it created a family-friendly atmosphere filled with costumes, candy, and plenty of smiles, no terror required.

A huge thank you goes out to the Tumbler Ridge Days Society, the Blunden family, and all of the participating businesses and non-profits who helped bring this frightfully fun event to life. With great community support and a hauntingly good cause, the Redrum Hotel’s re-re-opening is officially another Halloween hit in Tumbler Ridge history.

Sweet dreams… and we’ll see you next year.
